I hired Ms. Yamini in January 2022 to assist me in petitioning for reinstatement of my psychiatric Technician license. My license had previously been revoked in 2013 due to multiple convictions related to substance abuse. I put myself in a position that was tenuous and could have led to the loss of my professional license. Although, I made an effort to take responsibility for my inaction and admit to my failure, the board was not receptive to accepting my reasons. When I went to Atty Negin I was feeling defeated, panicked, and battered not only by the Title 9 Office at the University I go to but also by the person who filed a false complaint against me in what was a possibly deliberate attempt to sabotage me one semester away from graduation. I hired Attorney Yamini to write a response declaration when the Board of Nursing rejected the Admin. Judge's decision. This was at a time when other lawyers were busy on vacation, or were not taking any new clients (Dec. 2016). Attorney Yamini worked tirelessly clearing her calendar for two weeks to meet a tight deadline. She understood the case and represented the facts accurately within the law.
